raised €1,780 for the ISPCA. Above, in 2006 our team raised over
€1,200 for UNICEF and the Harold’s Cross Hospice

Tom O'Connor
Managing director
Tom has over 20 years experience at managing director level,
covering all aspects from financial performance to human resources
to quality, environment and safety management.
During his 30 years with the company Tom has had overall
responsibility for projects ranging from civil infrastructure (such
as roads, bridges and marine works) and industrial developments to
major power station developments in the Caribbean and Middle East
as well as Ireland. Tom’s specialist expertise includes project and
engineering management for diesel, steam and gas-turbine driven
power stations, electrical HV transmission systems and related
technologies.
Ger O'Sullivan
Deputy managing director
Ger has extensive experience at the highest level in company
management incorporating policy and strategy development, project
and company performance, resource management and the establishment
and communication of strategic business goals to all staff.
Ger’s background lies in environmental projects incorporating water
abstraction, treatment and supply, wastewater treatment and water
quality studies in the public and private sectors. He is also well
versed in project procurement ranging from conventional routes to
design build operate arrangements for public sector water services
projects.
Dan Horgan

Chairman and
marketing director
As well as serving as chairman, Dan has overall res-ponsibility for
the company’s business development and marketing across all areas
of its operation – a role to which he brings many years of
top-level manage-ment experience.
Dan’s specialist expertise is rooted in mechanical and electrical
engineering – particularly in the design and delivery of building
services projects. He has many years experience in managing and
directing high profile projects throughout Ireland covering all
sectors – most notably commercial, leisure and industrial
developments for blue-chip household name clients.
Tom Bolger
Tom Bolger
Director - manager of the Dublin office
Tom has over 36 years experience in the planning and design of
building structures and civil engineering works. He has extensive
experience as project director and project manager on projects in
heavy industry, food industry and general commercial and
institutional projects. In the civil engineering area he has
experience in roads and transportation, industrial estates, housing
projects and mixed use retail development. Overseas experience
includes work on a cement manufacturing plant in Poland.
John Murphy
John Murphy
Director - civil and transport
John is one of our senior managers based in Cork serving as our
project director on a wide range of civil and structural projects
and associated works in Ireland. These include concrete bridges,
marine structures and immersed tube tunnels as well as education,
industrial and commercial buildings. John also plays a key role in
transportation studies, economic appraisals, environmental impact
assess-ments, highway design, contract administration and computer
systems implementation.
Conor O’Donovan
Conor O'Donovan
Director - power & building services
Conor is one of our senior managers based in Dublin responsible
as project director for electrical, control and instrumentation
projects in the utilities, transport-ation, industrial and
commercial sectors. Conor specialises in project management and
engineering design for schemes involving power generation,
transmission and distribution for the power utilities,
transportation and process industries. He has many years experience
working on power projects in Ireland, the Middle East, Africa and
the Caribbean.
Gabriel Reilly
Gabriel Reilly
Director - civil and structural
Gabriel has over 26 years’ experience in the planning, design,
inspection and site supervision of large scale civil and structural
engineering works. Extensive experience as Project Manager or Team
Leader on a variety of planning, detailed design and construction
projects, including ports and harbours, river works, infrastructure
works, industrial developments and general civil engineering works.
International experience has been gained from a combination of both
long term and short term assignments in Europe, Middle East and
South East Asia.

Fintan's key specialisations include water and wastewater
treatment, drainage design, catchment management and environmental
impact assessment, along with project management, procurement,
contract documentation and administration and construction
supervision.
Declan Herlihy
Declan Herlihy
Divisional director - civil and transport
Declan has over 26 years experience in the planning, design and
supervision of major civil engineering projects in Ireland and the
UK. He has acted as Design Team Leader or Project Manager on a
number of projects and has particular experience in the development
of projects through to final design, including the preparation of
Contract Documents. Projects include Dublin Light Rail, Ennis
By-Pass, Co. Clare, Southern Cross Motorway, Derry Port
Redevelopment and Ministry of Defence (UK) Projects in the Middle
East.
Paul Kelly
Paul Kelly
Divisional director - environment (Dublin)
Paul has more than 11 years experience in environmental management
of public and private sector projects in Ireland. Paul's experience
includes the environmental brief on a number of road, rail, water
supply, waste water, flood relief, industrial and mixed development
projects across a range of topics such as environmental design,
environmental impact assessment, environmental licensing,
environmental auditing and environmental management systems.
